OUR MISSION is to provide practices that support development of healthy mind, body and spirit, accessible to everyone. We do that through hosting programming that fosters individual and community cultivation of contemplative, movement, and healing arts that serve to promote a compassionate, healthy and safe world community.
We work with people of all ages supporting open, honest, loving exploration of oneself and provide tools for self awareness and human development over the course of one's lifetime.
Dharma River-Manitou Center partners with schools, workplaces, social service agencies, community and spiritual organizations, families and individuals. We offer and utilize modalities such as: mindfulness, breath-based movement practices (yoga, qi gong, tai chi, kung fu) connecting and listening to one's emotional intelligence and internal compass with body-based somatic practices and Zen studies as diverse pathways for exploration, care for and nurturing of one's authentic self.
