Midwest Avian Adoption and Rescues Services-better known as MAARS-is a local, 501(c)3 charitable organization. Since 1999, MAARS has been serving the needs of displaced captive exotic parrots and the community through educational programs. Now a sanctuary accredited by The Global federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), we provide lifetime care for birds considered “unadoptable”, often referred to us by other parrot rescues, due to medical or psychological reasons
