Urgent Support Needed  for Students at Century College

While the full impact of our current, radically changed situation on the Century College community is still unknown, it has already significantly disrupted the lives of many of our students. 

Students are scrambling to find the necessary resources to convert to distance learning, while dealing with lost wages and other stressors. Nearly one third of our students were experiencing extreme financial need before the pandemic even started.

Many of our students are living in vulnerable circumstances and need help now.

While national CARES Act funding is on the way, it comes with limitations - preventing us from helping all of ours students in need. And even for the students fortunate enough to receive CARES funding, for some of them, it's not enough.

The Century College Student Emergency Fund gives us the flexibility we need to help EVERY student in need.

Acts of Kindness Emergency Assistance Fund

Helps to pay emergency expenses not covered through financial aid or any other community resources, including:

• Food and basic needs
• Housing assistance
• Unexpected distance learning costs

Emergency Scholarship Fund

Helps current high achieving students unable to make their next tuition payment to continue in their education.
