I am never not knitting. Even if you are not a knitter, it is a passion that we share as makers - creating fabric and relationships, learning new skills and sharing with others. I joined the Guild over 15 years ago (how time flies) and have committed to being an active participant in the guild by serving on the board.
The Minnesota Knitters’ Guild Service Committee sponsors and coordinates projects that benefit the greater community. Each year, we partner with various organizations to provide needed items that are knit and donated by our members.
In 2022, we are supporting MoveFwd and Sanya’s Hope for Children.
Our mission statement is to promote interest, appreciation, education, and fellowship in the art of knitting.
Membership is open to all who are interested in the purpose of The Guild, no matter their age, race, ethnicity, citizenship status, socioeconomic status, religion, gender identity, or political persuasion.
Funds received will be used for programming, website and other guild expenses.
