$3,000 goal

We have a goal of raising $3,000 during the rest of November to send 5 local classrooms to attend our Special Olympics Winter Carnival in February.

The Region 5 Special Olympics Winter Carnival is a day that we open Camp to the local area classrooms and say 'thank you' to our Community -- thanks to the support of local businesses, donors like you, and volunteers-- to enjoy activities including: dog sledding, ice fishing, snow tubing, ice hockey, and more!

Our hard cost for a Classroom to attend Camp for the Winter Carnival is $500. Thanks to the generous support of Donors like you, we WAIVE FEES to these classrooms, so they never have to worry about missing out on a day of recreation celebrating their abilities and hands-on education for the Educators and Staff that attend with the students.

Did you know you can donate to your Organization of choice from now until November 29th for the chance of funds to be MATCHED, and fees are waived.

With your donation the remaining month of November, we will be able to provide a day of Winter recreation for local Students to celebrate their individual abilities.

Will you help us?

"The winter carnival at Camp Confidence brings together several community volunteers and groups to provide outdoor activities for students with disabilities from the area schools. Some of our favorite activities include ice fishing, broomball, snowmobile rides, dog sled rides and tubing down the big hill! If we need a short break from the cold we can enjoy the bonfire with a cup of hot chocolate or go inside for face painting. The winter carnival at Camp Confidence is always one of the best days of the year!"
