Hope House, Bemidji Celebrates with the 43-43-43!

How can you help a loved one who has gone through a mental health crisis? Where can you find a prescriber for your loved one, or a place for them to rebuild structure and healthy friendships?  How can you get support for yourself?  Hope House Community Support Program in Bemidji provides these services and more for adults with long-term mental illness and their families.  

This community support program has been in existence in Bemidji since 1980. As a 501©3 not-for-profit organization, Hope House’ mission is to support the least restrictive setting for clients, improve functioning to best levels, and reduce hospitalizations.  Hope House helps adults with long-term mental illness regain their lives. 

The year 2023 marks the 43rd anniversary of serving Bemidji and the surrounding community.  Hope House is celebrating this milestone with a 43-43-43 fundraiser.  We are encouraging donations of $43 per person (bigger or smaller amounts welcome) with 43 hours to do it, and celebrating client accomplishments over 43 years. 

Beginning Wednesday, November 8th at 3 pm and ending 43 hours later on Friday, November 10th at 10:00 a.m., donations may be mailed directly to Hope House at PO Box 1097, Bemidji, MN 56619, or via PayPal, or made here through GiveMN.org. During this event, Hope House will give its history, services, consumer/client success, mental health information, volunteer opportunities, board member requirements, and other information, all posted on Facebook at Hope House Bemidji.   

From reduced hospitalizations to college graduations, clients are meeting their goals with Hope House’ help.   Hope House is asking the community to show their dedication to client mental health by participating in this 43-43-43 event.
