Your donations are what help the daily operation of the shelter. The staff works tirelessly to make sure the animals at TCHS are well cared for. They work to find loving homes for the house-less animals of Central MN. I adore this shelter and the work they do. I had the privilege to volunteer in the shelter completing all types of shelter care. One of the highest points for me was meeting two tabby cats named Elton and Elvis. They were a bonded pair and the sweetest cats. I spent almost an hour in their cat colony with them and just fell in love. They were adopted as a bonded pair quickly after that. 

The lowest point was meeting a dog that was used as a bait dog for a dogfighting operation. I do not know his whole story, but what I saw was enough to light that fire of determination to protect animals. To be frank, I cannot believe that dogfight is still a thing happening in society and in our backyard to boot! TCHS works with governmental organizations to educate and lobby our lawmakers. TCHS is committed to serving the animals in need and I would love to help them.
