Another year has passed and the need for help is ever greater. The pandemic changed our lives in so many ways, the animals have paid dearly. People abandoning their pets with no place for them to go. The rescue groups have been hit hard with inflation, financial support is down, Veterinary care has gone up and the wait times are long. Yet, there are lives to be saved and we just roll our sleeves up a little higher! SCRAM started back in 2004, never thinking the organization would be needed these many years later! As an all volunteer rescue organization we pour our hearts into this labor of love! The public has been very supportive of SCRAM, without support we couldn't have saved as many lives as we have over the years! This year we have had the greatest need for help on a shoestring budget. We find creative ways to stretch every cent that goes directly to the animals. We have a sanctuary in northern MN that provides a home to the feral cats and kittens that are not adoptable. They work hard to keep everyone healthy and happy and are doing a fine job! Our hope is someday our services won't be needed, until then we are asking for your financial support so we can continue this labor of love known as SCRAM. Every cat/kitten that comes in receives all the medical care they need, every animal is spay/neutered and vaccinated, feline leukemia tested and treated for any other issue they may have. Through your gifts every life receives the care they need to move onto a much better life! We take pride in our ability to provide them with experienced fosters who know cats well! Without them there would be no organization! They are more than fosters, they are the lifeline these cats need! Our hope is we can raise enough money to possibly find space we can rent for the winter months due to the demand for our services. Fosters care for the cats and kittens in their home to better prepare them for adoption. So, in light of all that is going on in our world we extend our hand to you and ask for your help. Please consider how many cats are outside in this cold, wet weather that will only get worse! We need to get as many inside as we can and begin the road to a better life! Together we can accomplish that goal! Thank you for supporting SCRAM over these many years! Thank you for being a part of the SCRAM family!
