Our STEM Pathway of schools in Apple Valley which includes Cedar Park Elementary, Echo Park Elementary, Valley Middle School, and Apple Valley High School, are committed to providing a hands-on, real-world STEM learning experience for all students.
Currently two STEM schools are in need of support to help replenish their supply of 3D printers in their STEM Labs. Unfortunately, 3D printers cannot not run forever, despite the best efforts of the teachers to keep them running as long as possible. These printers typically last about 3 years. Our expert fab lab teachers have managed to keep these going for almost 7 years! Our goal is to purchase 8 Makerbot 3d printers ($2000/printer). Through district and building funds, we are able to purchase 4, but need help to reach the rest of our goal. We have already received matching fund pledge of $2000.00 in support should we be able to gain this level of support.
Thank you for your generous support.
