Will You Help Fill the Gap and Provide Safety for Survivors of Sexual Exploitation?
Terebinth Refuge works on the front lines providing crisis intervention and emergency shelter and housing for exploited women and their small children. We will remain open during this critical time when the most vulnerable need us (and you) the most.
Can you imagine being unable to get a job, trapped with your abuser, having a small child, and threatened to be thrown out into the streets if you do not continue to be sold for sex?
This is the common experience of the women seeking safe shelter at Terebinth Refuge. Now more than ever, they need your help.
The new safety requirements add unexpected expenses to our already tight budget, including an increased need for staffing, contingency planning, cleaning, and hygiene supplies. In addition, we know that COVID-19 has and will continue to immediately affect our financial situation.
We trust that God will help cover these losses, and we are asking you if you might consider making a gift to “Fill the Gap”?
Our goal is to raise $60,000 by June 1, 2020.
Here is how you can help:
- Pray that we will reach or even exceed our goal!
- Make a gift today!
- We have received a generous matching gift of $10,000 in the memorial of Dennis Zaun, father of Terebinth Refuge Board Member, Todd Zaun. We are so incredibly blessed by this. Thank you to Karen Zaun for this loving donation made in her husband’s name to help survivors! This matching gift will be used to match donations over $250, up to $10,000.
- Share our campaign page with your networks far and wide!
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Your donation will make an immediate difference in our ability to serve women and children.
“The Employment Readiness program has restored my confidence. Now, when I look for employment or go to an interview, I am no longer ashamed to discuss the barriers and criminal history I have overcome. I am proud of the skills I have.”

- Women gain the skills and tools needed to become employable.
- Women develop skills to identify healthy/unhealthy relationships and avoid future exploitative and abusive relationships.
