Thanksgiving Dinner 2025

It’s hard to believe, but this year marks 12 years of sharing Thanksgiving dinners with our community. At Good Works Food Shelf, we’re thankful for the opportunity to help our neighbors through another holiday season.

Over the years, we’ve provided families with healthy foods, fresh produce, and household staples to make life a little easier. One of our favorite traditions is our Thanksgiving Dinner Basket Distribution, where families leave with everything they need for a full, home-cooked meal and a reason to smile.

Last year, a mother named Maria shared, “When we got the basket from Good Works, I was able to cook a full meal for my kids. It wasn’t just about the food. It gave us a chance to have a real family moment we’ll never forget.”

This year, our goal is to serve up to 200 families on Wednesday, November 19. Each family will receive a Thanksgiving basket filled with a turkey and all the fixings: vegetables, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and dessert.

As food costs continue to rise, your support means more than ever. A gift of $40, $60, or $75 sponsors a Thanksgiving meal for a family and helps make sure every household has a reason to give thanks this season.

Together, we can share warmth, joy, and good food with our neighbors because no one should have to face the holidays alone.
