Sickle Cell Disease causes red blood cells to become hard and sticky. This devastating condition is lifelong and is known for causing severe pain crisis, many requiring medical treatment and often hospitalization. Those living with SCD are not defined by the pain, but rather, their incredible strength and resiliency.

Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is the most common genetic blood condition found on newborn screenings in the U.S.  In Minnesota, nearly 30 babies are born with sickle cell disease each and every year and annually more than 1,200 babies are born with  sickle cell trait, making these babies highest risk for having future children with SCD.

Now you can join Team _____ as we help raise money for Sickle Cell Foundation of MN and the critical work they are doing to improve outcomes in healthcare and quality of life!
