MOVE 4 SICKLE CELL FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE
Join the movement and help raise money for Sickle Cell Foundation of MN!
Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is a genetic disease that causes red blood cells to become hard and sticky. This devastating condition is lifelong and is known for causing strokes, organ failure and severe pain crisis. Many of these complications require urgent medical treatment and lengthy hospitalizations. Those living with SCD work incredibly hard to not be defined by the pain of this disease, but rather, their incredible strength and resiliency.
Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is the most common genetic blood condition found on newborn screenings in the U.S. In Minnesota, nearly 30 babies are born with sickle cell disease each and every year and annually more than 1,200 babies are born with sickle cell trait, making these babies highest risk for having future children with SCD.
Whether you make a 1 time donation or create a fundraiser (we love this idea!), help us to expand our reach as we continue to work toward improving outcomes for those living with this disease.

1. Make a donation of any amount
