Support World Savvy

I believe we are in an unprecedented time when the need for thoughtful, innovative, open minded and forward thinking leaders are more important than ever before. This is why I committed earlier this year to serve on the Host Committee for World Savvy’s annual fundraiser, World of Good. I have seen with my own eyes the power of this organization and how it can change the course of a child's life - by giving them the tools to pursue their ideas and solutions to real world problems. From climate change to health care and everything in between, the creative solutions proposed by children today could very well be the actual solutions we use to combat these problems in the near future. 

Of course, due to Covid-19, the World of Good fundraising event has been cancelled, as have in-person classes at all of the schools with which World Savvy partners. However, World Savvy’s innovative approach was made for a time like this, and they have quickly pivoted to support educators and students as they transition to online teaching and learning, and are committed to continuing to innovate and expand their program offerings. World Savvy is revolutionizing education – changing how students engage with their communities and the world and shaping an educational experience that creates better communicators, collaborators, and changemakers – which we know now is more important than ever.
