Our special education programs at the South Education Center are designed to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities ranging from sixth grade to post-high school. We help students achieve their goals by providing specialized instruction, training and support in areas specified in their IEP and in the following post-secondary areas: Jobs and Job Training, Home Living and Post Secondary Training.

Our Transition Plus program serves students who are working to develop skills that will enable them to live and work independently in the community.

Our Extended Campus Program supports students to create healthy coping strategies and increase academic stamina which allows students to return to their original school.

Funds raised through GiveMN will help students to participate in the community, practice independent living skills with daily cooking, build and utilize social-emotional support and allow students to create and manage work-based learning projects.
