One of our state wide duties as written into Minnesota state statutes is to respond to reports of animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, and torture in the state of Minnesota. Our trained professional state humane agents and staff work around the clock. Our team is dedicated to helping both humans and animals to live better and safer lives all throughout Minnesota.

The truth is, we are so busy with case work that we don’t have the time it takes to do the fundraising that is necessary to fund our essential work. These online giving campaigns are critical in our ability to help animals and people and assist in bringing those who harm them to justice.

If you believe that animal cruelty, abuse, or neglect deserves quick and competent attention in Minnesota, we need you to support Minnesota Federated Humane Societies.

We train State Humane Agents and work with law enforcement to investigate animal crimes in Minnesota. But we cannot do this without funding. Animals in danger need us and they need you to support Minnesota Federated and our trained professional state humane agents.

Even though we are written into Minnesota statutes and our powers and duties are very similar to law enforcement, we're not currently a government-funded organization. We're a nonprofit that depends on financial support from people who believe that laws regarding animal welfare should be enforced and upheld.

Thousands of animals are reported to MFHS as being treated cruelly, neglected, abused and/or tortured tortured. Law enforcement are trained to address violations against human beings. MFHS investigators/state humane agents are trained to address animal welfare law violations. We work in partnership throughout Minnesota conducting animal welfare checks and investigating animal welfare crimes.

Please give as generously as you can to ensure our team members are well trained and properly equipped.

Thank you.
