ExoResonance | RenegadeEnsemble @ 480 Arts

480 Arts, 480 Prior Ave North, Saint Paul

An evening of open scores, improvisation and audience participation exploring both resonance and space. Featuring Connor Leigh Shaw, an LA based sonic artist alongside local musicians Isaac Mayhew, Jonathan Posthuma and Jason Wells. The audience will be immersed in soundscapes inside the large metal garage at 480 Arts and are invited to participate in open-ended pieces.

Vanguard New Music Series: RenegadeEnsemble Sings!

Zion Lutheran Church, Saint Paul

Join RenegadeEnsemble for a concert featuring vocal chamber music and experimental works for choir as part of the Vanguard New Music Series at Zion Lutheran Church in Saint Paul. Professional singers will perform new works commissioned by local composers alongside a lab choir of volunteer singers exploring new music for choir.

Our Mission

RenegadeEnsemble seeks to further develop and foster an audience for contemporary vocal and instrumental chamber music in Minnesota by promoting the work of local artists and composers through performances, recordings, workshops, interdisciplinary collaboration, and educational outreach. 

We seek to champion the unfamiliar, the weird, the independent, and the obscure musical ideas that don’t fit into the current musical landscape and connect artists and audiences interested in new music.
