Through our Build A Plane and NextGen Aviation Mechanics Programs, students ages 12–18 gain hands-on experience in aircraft restoration, maintenance, and flight education.

For over thirteen years, Flight Expo, Inc. has created a welcoming environment where young people can explore the exciting world of aviation—developing real-world skills that lead to FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification, pilot training, and lifelong aviation careers.

Serving students from across a 60+ mile radius, our programs have introduced more than 300 youth to the wonders of flight. Participants learn to read aircraft plans, use precision measuring tools, and understand the many systems that make aviation possible—all while working alongside experienced mentors and mechanics.

We are committed to keeping our programs affordable and accessible for every student who dreams of a career in aviation. Our facility, located near the Princeton, MN Airport, includes a main workshop and three hangars where students help maintain and restore real aircraft.

Every contribution helps provide tools, materials, instruction, and flight experiences that open doors for students to pursue their aviation dreams.
