Contributions will support the work of Peace Guides at six schools (Kaposia Education in South St. Paul, Progeny Academy and St. Alphonsus schools in Brooklyn Center, Notre Ecole French Immersion School in Golden Valley and Little Mountain and Pinewood elementary schools in Monticello) and will help expand the service to other schools.

Your support will help youth learn healthy friendship and conflict resolution skills and have a caring adult in their lives.

Peace Guides receive training from Think:Kids in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS).  Research shows that CPS is effective at helping youth, especially kids with challenging behavior, to develop healthy problem-solving skills.

The Peace Guide service was originally started by the South St. Paul Restorative Justice Council.  PeaceMaker Minnesota provided finanical assistance for the Council to provide the service for many years.  The Council was supportive in re-starting the service as a part of PeaceMaker Minnesota in 2020.
