We're building an Inclusive Playground at Parkview!
Why Now? Parkview’s play structures are 26 years old and are in need of replacement. While Roseville School District maintains existing playgrounds, funding new structures is up to each school.
Parkview's Demographics: Over 1 in 5 students at Parkview have formally identified disabilities including physical, social, emotional or sensory impairments.
Barriers To Play: There are no fully accessible pathways from an accessible door to any of the play areas or from the parking lot to the play area. There are minimal accessible play options. For many students, this means that they spend their time outside watching their friends play unable to join in.
How You Can Help: Join our commitment to providing an equitable and respectful experience for every student by making a tax-deductible gift toward our Inclusive Playground Project. Together, we can create the opportunity for every student of every ability to experience the joy and benefits of play at Parkview.
