Helping Families Heal

It has always taken a village to raise healthy children but for so many, parenthood hasn't been a community-supported experience. Ellison Center is working to change that so that when a child among us is struggling, the village gathers...and gather they do at Ellison Center!  

Their village of experts in early child development and infant mental health are clinically trained to work side-by-side with families to help support their children's return to healthy, normative development after experiencing difficulties. Whether a result of medical trauma, adoption complexity, domestic violence, caregiver addiction disorder, or developmental challenge, the team at Ellison Center takes consultative, reflective, evidence-based approaches to nurture hope and healing in the families they serve.

While insurance reimbursement keeps the lights on, prevention activities, community education outreach and parenting group gatherings fully depend upon donor support.

Their motto is: NO MORE WAITING!
