The goal of the Minnesota Women's Woodland Network (MNWWN) is to provide opportunities to recognize and enhance the role of women in woodland management, whether they own land themselves, inherit or purchase land, or are simply interested in supporting this effort.
It is well documented that women woodland owners are an increasingly important demographic and that they have a unique set of interests and needs that are often unmet by traditional woodland owner engagement and educational approaches. Whether women inherit or purchase woodlands, we offer them the opportunity to connect with other women woodland owners and resource professionals for education, news, information sharing, and peer learning.
We #ChoosetoChallenge on International Women’s Day, March 8, by providing women with tools, resources and a supportive network to take on the important role of woodland owners.
Celebrate this day by donating to MNWWN and help the women of the woods of Minnesota.
Donations will support
growing the network of women woodland owners
providing virtual learning opportunities and in-person field days
connecting women to helpful information and technical resources
and providing matching funds for future grants!
