NCA-MN Fundraiser for Tubman

The National Concierges Association - Minnesota Chapter is honored to partner with and support the efforts of Tubman. Starting now through November 30th, we are collecting raising funds to support the critical needs that Tubman provides. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!

About Tubman:

Each year Tubman provides safety, hope and healing to over 25,000 people of all ages, genders and cultural backgrounds who have experienced relationship violence, homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, sexual exploitation or other forms of trauma.

Last year:

* 24,730 people experiencing violence or exploitation developed a safety plan by phone or in person.

* 252 adults, youth and their 426 children received emergency shelter and supportive services at our two family violence shelters. Our transitional housing program served 19 adults and 38 children.

* 45 youth and their 8 children who have experienced violence and exploitation, including sex trafficking, received safe housing and support services in our Safe Journeys Program.

* 3,537 people received criminal court victim advocacy; legal advocacy, advice or representation in Orders for Protection and family law; or legal helpline support.

* 1,684 people received mental or chemical health assessment and/or treatment in our licensed clinics.

* 7,811 youth participated in our 6-week school-based violence prevention curriculum or attended a presentation on healthy relationships and violence prevention.

* 729 youth and young adults experiencing violence or exploitation received individual advocacy and support in the community or Tubman's housing and shelter programs. 

* 2,021 people participated in support groups, workshops or individual assistance with their financial, employment, education or housing goals. 

* 10,858 people in crisis accessed support and resources by phone or in person.

* Nearly 5,000 professionals, students, and community members attended 155 presentations on domestic abuse and Tubman services. 

The National Concierges Association was established in Dallas, Texas, in 1998 out of a need to create a format for networking on a local, national and international basis with other Concierges and venues of all types. Today, the NCA has members worldwide representing the corporate, hotel, retail, entertainment, academic, civic, medical, residential and privately owned sectors of the hospitality industry.
