New Arab American Theater Works just completed a successful run of our show Zafira and the Resistance in October of 2019 where two dozen local artists and community members came together to tell a story of empowerment. This show played to sold out audiences, standing ovations, and much love from the community. THANK YOU!
In order to continue on with our mission to tell Arab American stories through theater, we are asking for your support in our next season. We have several upcoming projects that we are excited to tell you about.
Some of these include:
- Drum Ensemble in which community members learn drumming and perform at local venues.
- One Hundred Years of Lebanese/Syrian History - a multimedia community project where we explore the history of immigration through storytelling and a multimedia presentation
- Community forums, workshops, and gatherings
