Eric's Fundraiser for MCEA

I'm proud to raise funds for the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, where I work as Chief Equity and Partnership Officer. Every day, I see the impact of our work as we defend the natural resources and public health of the state we call home. 

When we go toe-to-toe with polluters, holding agencies, businesses and individuals accountable for their decisions, the whole state benefits. Just a few of the things we’re working on:

1. The speculative PolyMet mine proposal is still being challenged every step of the way, thanks to the efforts of MCEA and its partners. While other proposed mines wait to see how this plays out, we’re in court defending northern Minnesota. 
2. MCEA is helping set benchmarks for the nation, with our work to pass the most stringent restrictions on PFAS or “forever chemicals” in the U.S. 
3. We’re working to bring the power of federal EPA regulations into our state’s water quality standards, partnering with farmers and well-owners in southern Minnesota to solve serious threats to our groundwater.
4. We’re a climate organization, too! We’re incredibly proud of our work to help pass the 100% Clean Energy bill into law. Now comes the implementation part, where we know MCEA’s expertise will be critical.
