As the occupation of Minnesota by federal agents continues, Neighbors for More Neighbors believes that, at this moment, it is more important than ever to support the critical needs of the neighbors already living in our communities.
Our work of ensuring everyone in the Twin Cities and Greater MN has a secure and safe home continues, and right now, the best way we can do this is by amplifying the fundraising work of other organizations.
Instead of asking you to donate to our specific work, we are fundraising to keep folks in their homes while they continue to shelter in place - after all, Neighbors for More Neighbors envisions a future where we all find secure, affordable homes in neighborhoods we choose.
That's why we have selected Critical Rent and Food Assistance for Harrison Neighborhood families serviced by the Harrison Neighborhood Association (HNA) as one of the beneficiaries of our Annual Kickoff event.
The Annual Kickoff is still happening on February 12th, 2026, to gather, connect with our community and volunteers, and learn about our work and goals for the upcoming legislative session.
If you haven't had a chance, we invite you to RSVP to the Neighbors for More Neighbors Annual Kickoff to learn more about our work and support our neighbors!
About Harrison Neighborhood Association
The Harrison Neighborhood Association (HNA) was formally organized in 1984 to address neighborhood problems. Tasks related to environmental issues, housing concerns, youth and family issues, economic development, and crime and safety efforts were then divided up between members.
Today, the Harrison neighborhood is one of the most culturally, racially, and economically diverse communities in Minneapolis. Harrison residents have built a rich history of art, creativity, and resilience. Local businesses have built a strong community of investment and possibility. We stand at the crossroads of opportunity and equity.
HNA is collecting donations for housing and food support. All donations will go directly to support residents currently under threat by I.C.E.
