Donate now and support students facing financial hardship

Over the past few months, students have reached out to share how music lessons and classes have been a lifeline in these uncertain times. It’s more important than ever to have access to the joy, stability, and sense of community that are at the core of traditional Irish music.

At the same time, we know that many of our students are facing financial hardship right now. We had an unprecedented number of financial aid applications for Summer Term classes and lessons, and although our financial aid fund has grown over the past 5 years, we’re asking for your help to meet this increased need.

Our goal is to raise $6,000 for the Bernadette & John Galaba Financial Aid Fund, allowing us the flexibility to respond to need when it arises and demonstrating our commitment to offer more significant support to current and future students.

With your help, we can ensure that students facing financial hardship don’t miss out on the life-affirming joys of Irish music.

Your gift in any amount makes a difference!

Give now and TRIPLE your donation!

Thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors and special Challenge Fund donors, the first $2,000 in donations will be matched TWICE! That means for every $1 you give, the Center for Irish Music will receive $3 for our financial aid fund.

"Growing up, the internet was my only source for learning Irish music. All of the videos that we learned from were adults teaching and so I felt very alone because I didn’t have other children around me who also loved Irish music. The financial aid offered by CIM made it possible for me to not only pursue my love of Irish music, but it helped me join a whole community of kids who loved Irish music the way that I did." - Ella Pierce, CIM student

“Thank you for showing up regularly and being yourselves. It is just what a certain 14-year old needs right now. The connection with you as teachers has meaning beyond the tunes you share. Thank you for sharing art and life with my daughter.” - Sarah Weaver, CIM parent
