Each year, MSSA provides seven scholarships to assist future health and human services professionals.
In addition to the financial award, 2023 scholarship recipients receive
- Free MSSA membership that continues through their first year after graduation.
- Free registration to our Annual Training Conference and Expo.
- Recognition in various MSSA communications, including at the Annual Conference.
MSSA awards scholarships in three categories—Undergraduate, Graduate, and Diversity.

Awarded to students who have demonstrated a passion for and commitment to working in the health and human services field. |
Awarded to master’s degree or PhD candidates in a health and human services-related graduate program who have demonstrated a passion for and commitment to working in the health and human services field. | The purpose of the MSSA Diversity Scholarship is to work toward the elimination of the disparities within the health and human services system. |
