The Priority Center is Orange County's largest nonprofit dedicated primarily to the prevention of child abuse. They provide outreach, prevention, and intervention services to vulnerable families in our community. The Priority Center’s goal is to support families in crisis in order to foster resilience and end the generational cycle of trauma. Each year, they serve over 5,700 underserved children and their families. The Priority Center also meets the needs of the community at large by organizing outreach and educational events that reach over 23,000 children and families annually.
I will be part of a team running in the 4/11 and 4/12/25 200 mile Southern California Ragnar Relay Race in order to raise awareness and funds to help give every child in Orange County a bright future and a great start in life. We believe every child deserves a safe and nurturing home free from abuse, neglect, and instability to help it reach their greatest potential.
We are running for Andre, a single father who lived in his car with his 5-year-old twin girls until our programs intervened, and Paloma, a single mom at UCI with a baby, a full-time job, and a full time student status who is overwhelmed by the curve balls life has thrown her. We are trying to make a difference in their lives.
We invite you to join the fight against child abuse!
