A nonprofit fundraiser supporting
Neighborhood Development CenterNDC's mission is to empower entrepreneurs to transform low-income neighborhoods from within.

$10,000 goal
For the past 29 years, NDC has successfully connected neighborhood entrepreneurs, 90% of them people of color, with opportunities and skills to start and grow successful businesses. With the right resources in place, entrepreneurs can create jobs, build wealth, become community leaders, and transform historically underinvested communities from within.
Join us as we invest in the community impact of local BIPOC-owned businesses like West Indies Soul and its founder, Sharon Richards-Noel, pictured above. "About 30 years ago, I went to [NDC Founder] Mike Temali and I received $5,000 to start my business. When I first opened, Mike Temali was my very first customer. I am grateful for everything that NDC has done for me.” With support from NDC, Sharon recently opened a new permanent location on University Avenue.
With your donation, NDC continues to provide culturally responsive Entrepreneur Training, Technical Assistance, character-based Lending, and affordable commercial Small Business Incubator space to over 400 businesses each year.
Thank you for believing in the power of entrepreneurs to transform their neighborhoods from within!
