Leah’s Fundraiser for Ruff Start Rescue

Ruff Start Rescue has been a huge part of my life for the past 12 years! I started fostering and volunteering to help improve and save the lives of as many pets as I can. Fostering is a wonderful way to save a life and show those animals in need they are loved as you care for them, get them the vetting they need and find a loving forever home for them to call their own.

I am currently fostering Willow and her 5 babies. I started fostering Willow when she was surrendered to the rescue  as a pregnant kitty. She had 6 adorable little babies. One of them, Linden, was the runt from the start and at 3 weeks old he developed breathing issues and I rushed him to Emergency care at the U of M. They discovered he had aspiration pneumonia and that visit ended up costing the rescue nearly $800 but they knew he needed to get emergency care and okayed the visit and necessary care. Unfortunately, sweet Linden did not make it but he is no longer suffering. 

I am doing this fundraiser in his memory so that funds are available for other animlas in meed to get the necessary care whenever they need it!
