Give to the Max Day 2020! Maximum Sunshine!

The Spread Sunshine Gang provides simple, yet powerful events, projects, and creative opportunities that make it easy for you to share your generosity in our community. Spreading sunshine, kindness, and goodness with people who need it is a gift to everyone!

Although 2020 wasn't at all what we were planning, we have managed to keep going and have spread a TON of sunshine! 

This year we've:

-Donated $1500 to local and national social justice organizations with "Chip in for Change!" Homemade chocolate chip cookies were delivered to your doorstep with your financial donation.

-Established a relationship with the McKinley Community in North Minneapolis and donated 100 Fall Family Fun Kits with all the fixings for homemade Chex Mix, Playing cards and Kindness cards

-Donated 100 Summer Family Fun Kits with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, a beach ball, stickers and a DIY bird house

-Donated 30 Back-to-School kits

-Donated diapers and baby wipes to People Serving People, a shelter in downtown Minneapolis

-Donated socks, underwear and undershirts to The Drawer, a non-profit in Rosemount, MN

-Shared a message of "You are loved" on pedestrian bridges in Minneapolis

-Delivered 15 "Little Free Pantries" to neighborhoods in Minneapolis, Eden Prairie, Plymouth and Richfield

-Hosted our very first "Kindness Crusade" at the Mall of America where teams competed against one another to do the most Random Acts of Kindness in 1 hour

-Hosted three "Bundle Up, MN" events in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Part warm-clothing drive and part art-installation.

With your Give to the Max Day financial donation, we will be able to continue our mission of sharing GOODNESS with the Twin Cities area. Our goal is $10,000+ dollars. Early giving is underway and our fundraiser goes through 11/30.
