The Lake County Historical Society has been collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of the county for over 95 years. Founded in the basement of the Agate Bay Hotel in 1925, the historical society operates 3 historic sites and the Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast. 

Be part of the legacy! Right now, LCHS is facing its largest challenge in its 95 year history. The Covid-19 Pandemic impacted operations and shut down our sites for four months. While we reopened our 3 historic landmarks at the end of June, we had to modify operations to protect both visitors and staff by reducing capacity inside of our buildings. 

All funds raised will go towards the Society's mission to collect, preserve, and share the history of Lake County, Minnesota. Help us thrive for 95 more years!
