Lara Bohnen's - Brighter Days: One Dog at a Time

Max is pure joy in a furry package.  His tail wags at the sound of a kind voice, he melts for back scratches, and his zoomies could win gold medals.

But when Max first arrived at the shelter, his life looked very different. His leg was so badly fractured it couldn’t be saved. Without help, his future would have been full of pain.

Thanks to the generosity of animal lovers like you, Max came to our Safe House, got the surgery he desperately needed, and discovered the freedom of running again. Now he “supervises” our staff with a giant smile, reminding us why we do this work.
