The Theater of Public Policy: You think public policy improv groups grow on trees????#GiveAtHomeMN!

The Theater of Public Policy (T2P2) is "thinky" fun. Don't believe me? Well, get this: one of the "thinkiest" things around, the Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College, has hired them not once, but twice, to do improv shows about the science-based topics at our conference. Soil and reproductive technology--riotously funny topics, right? Well, when T2P2 took them on, they were!

The idea to use improv to build community, understanding, and connection on important topics makes NO sense at all. And yet, that is exactly what T2P2 does, and it WORKS!

Usually, it works in, well, LIVE events where all the performers are in the same room with each other and the audience. (Remember those days?)   Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis is their "home base." These days, their home bases are, well, their actual homes; they're livestreaming shows on Facebook and YouTube.

Because, well, #StayHomeMN. And they're funny trying to do improv with each other at a distance; they really are. But we all are waiting and hoping for the day when we can all be in the same room together. And when that day comes, we want T2P2 to still BE ALIVE AND KICKING.

I want to live in a Minnesota that has a vibrant, exciting arts scene - and a vibrant exciting public square to talk and learn about the issues impacting us all. We can do both, by supporting T2P2 now for #GiveAtHomeMN.  Please, make a contribution, and share your contribution with your friends . We may even earn some fun matching gifts! Check out their page to learn more, but please help me meet my goal in support of T2P2!
