Wait - The Theater of Public Policy? The troupe whose work the Star Tribune called "seriously funny" merging weighty topics of import and improv comedy?

Yep. Us.

These are hard times for artists who rely on public performances to help pay the bills. We are doing all kinds of virtual fun and learning, and looking forward to the day when audiences are once again in the same space with us.

But we need to be around after all this is over. So, we need you. We need teams of you. and #GiveAtHomeMN is a great time to create a team of like-minded, civic-folks-who-like-to-laugh, to support this work.

So, here's what we need you to do.
1. Agree to create a team. A team of one is great. There can be an "I" in team. Language is constantly evolving - just look up "literally" if you don't believe it.

2. Set a goal. We suggest $500. That's 10 friends kicking in $50 each. or 25 friends doing $20 each. Any goal, any number, is good.

3. Share.  Ask your team to share their link and use the hashtag "#GiveAtHomeMN and #TeamT2P2.  We need lots of people who care about fun and public good to join in.

4. Form your team by May 1, and spread the word from May 1 to May 8. Keep your eyes open for info to share on May 4 especially, and remember that May 5 is also #GivingTuesdayNow, so people from all over can also give to support T2P2. Comedy and public policy are international. (Really, just read the news. We gotta laugh or we gotta cry).

Last thing - your donation to GiveMN is tax-deductible - including a new Universal Deduction so everyone can get a little tax help. Springboard for the Arts is our fiscal sponsor, so you'll see their name at the top. We are grateful for their continued support!

Stay tuned! Ask questions, recruit people. We can do this!
