About HDC + HYB
Located in the heart of downtown Hopkins, Hopkins Dance Company is a fully diversified, classically inspired dance studio with a 35-year history of developing and mentoring young dancers. We emphasize a strong foundation in dance technique, particularly ballet, for dancers at all levels. Our instructors are current and former professional dancers, with a wide range of expertise.

In the summer of 2008, Hopkins Youth Ballet (HYB) was formed with a mission to provide a training ground for those students who are eager to experience firsthand how a professional dance company works. Learning new repertoire, personal responsibility, development of performing skills and technical excellence are the primary goals of HYB. Hopkins Youth Ballet is funded in part by the Leslie J Daly Memorial Fund.
