$2,000 goal

As I look toward my retirement from Freshwater on December 31, 2022, I'm reminded of the many wonderful people who helped me grow and develop throughout my career, starting at the MN Department of Natural Resources, to the MN Department of Health, to the MN Pollution Control Agency and finally here at Freshwater!

Helping young professionals as their water careers unfold is part of our mission at Freshwater "empowering people to protect and conserve water..." Our work to sponsor interns and international visiting fellows helps to build a foundation of work experiences and networks to launch their career. It's why these four+ decades later, I am always eager and excited to connect with students and young professionals to support their journey into the water workforce.

Freshwater has a history of helping to build the future water workforce - international visiting fellows (like Eddy Andrango from Ecuador, pictured on this page) and interns (like Olivia Forshee, intern turned Freshwater employee, also pictured on this page) to help build skills, produce meaningful work experiences and grow networks. Read about these internships on Freshwater's Give to the Max home page https://www.givemn.org/organization/Freshwater-Society. Your donation will help us pay it forward for the next generation of water experts.

Will you please help me reach my goal? It will help us support our future Freshwater workforce! Thank you for your generosity.
