The Virginia Greenhouse is, and has always been, a regional gem. The benefits extend far beyond the geographic boundaries of the city of Virginia, MN. Olcott Park has long been a destination trip for families. Throughout its colorful past the greenhouse has provided the community a valued experience of vegetable and flower gardens, a zoo with a monkey house, a traditional greenhouse, a rock garden feature, special garden events, and winter sports, among many other activities, features and events. Over the years the Greenhouse has been maintained and perserved by the Friends of the Greenhouse, but eventually funding will be necessary for upgrading our roof to continue to keep our plants safe from the Northern MN winter elements.
