Help the Ducks make a Splash

The absence of positive role models and a misunderstanding of what is possible are incredible barriers to success. The Inner City Ducks are removing these barriers and building the leaders of tomorrow by exposing young people to a brighter future.

Through youth basketball and football, children ages 5 through 14 receive positive mentorship, learning leadership and life skills from community leaders who have come from similar backgrounds. Your generous donations make a positive impact that changes individual lives, families and communities.

When funding disappeared for after-school athletics, it left a tremendous hole for inner-city youth. The Inner City Ducks stepped up to fill the void. Starting with a single team of 13 boys in May of 2019, the Ducks have exploded to multiple teams with 140+ participants. This growth has been fueled by generous individual and corporate donations. 

Our goals include adding additional participants, creating positive opportunities and bringing role models to these young children's lives so they can create their own successful futures. By helping these young people develop positive life skills, families and the larger community also benefit.  The Ducks inspirational story has been featured in several local and national media stories. Through your generous support, we look forward to continuing this important mission.
