The Invisible Wounds Project's mission is to positively impact and enhance the lives of those who serve(d). We support current and former military, police, fire, EMS, frontline medical staff, corrections, 911 dispatch and their families related to mental health, wellness, PTSD and suicide issues.
Each year we serve over 400 individuals, families, and groups providing access to therapy and therapeutic services. We have a one-of-a-kind Support Center in Forest Lake, MN where we provide those who serve(d) with the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences, while also providing access to support and therapeutic services. The Support Center has a large community lounge for people to gather along with a coffee bar which allows for easy conversation. There is a large conference room for training, education and events as well. There is a significant focus on the arts in the center, with a woodworking shop, laser room and art studio. There is a space for members to workout, as well as a therapeutic room.
