Project Summary: Moveable Airplant Feature for Our Non-Profit Greenhouse

We are excited to introduce a unique project aimed at enhancing our community's interaction with nature: a Moveable Airplant Feature at our non-profit greenhouse. This initiative seeks to combine educational opportunities with environmental consciousness, fostering a deeper connection between our visitors and the wonders of nature.

Objectives:

Educate and Inspire: Through an interactive display, participants will learn about airplants—remarkable flora known for their resilience and minimal soil needs. Our feature will serve as a living exhibit demonstrating their ecological value and sustainability.

Community Growth: By cultivating curiosity and knowledge about airplants, we aim to spark a passion for horticulture and ecology among community members, inspiring future generations to value and protect our environment.

Project Details:

Design: The feature will consist of modular, lightweight components, designed for easy assembly and dismantling, allowing it to be adaptable to different settings.

Educational Component: Informational panels and interactive guides will accompany the airplants, offering detailed insights into their growth, care, and ecological significance.

Funding Goals:

To bring this vision to life, our goal is to raise $1000 through GiveMN. These funds will cover:

Materials & Construction: 

1. Sourcing sustainable materials and constructing the feature in collaboration with local artisans and volunteers.

2. Selecting a variety of diverse, unique airplants to feature in our main Greenhouse located at Olcott Park in Virginia, MN.
