Donate to Express Bike Shop today and help youth prepare for the world of work!

Your generosity today will provide opportunities for teens to gain skills that prepare them for the world of work!

Why does this matter?

One of the best predictors of successful employment as an adult is a positive youth employment experience. During periods of high unemployment, teens are even less likely to get a job. Keystone prioritizes employment opportunities and job training for youth.

Why give to Express Bike?

Through paid apprenticeship positions, teens have a first job experience and learn critical work-readiness skills to prepare them for any workplace. At Express Bike, we like to say the best work readiness program is a job.

Your gift will support teens like Ryan!

For Ryan, Express Bike Shop was the perfect opportunity to get out of the house and try something new. Ryan feels that the extensive training he received as a Youth Apprentice, from learning to tighten brakes to gaining communication and interview skills, has helped him plan for his future and understand that he thrives when solving problems and working with his hands.

But the thing Ryan loves most about this job at Express Bike Shop is the people. During the pandemic, Ryan is especially grateful for the opportunity to be face-to-face with his peers because it’s kept him encouraged through these difficult times. “My favorite thing about working here is entering the shop,” he explains. “I like seeing the smiles; even through the masks, you can tell that everyone is smiling.”

Your gift to Keystone's Express Bike Shop will teens like Ryan meaningful early employment experience.

Thank you for your support!
