Erica's 2021 Virtual Fur Ball Gala

I've been a dog lover all my life!  In 2007, I adopted Finley who was a black lab mix and she was great with other dogs so my journey with Safe Hands started in 2012 when I became a foster and then a foster fail and then a foster again.  Finley always welcomed each pup and was always my pal along the way.  Recently, I sadly had to say goodbye to her but I was blessed to have Finley with me for 14 years and my heart is so full from all the love she gave me each and every day.  In memory of Finley....I want to help raise funds for the KY Safe House which is so necessary and will help to save so many homeless animals.  

Safe Hands Rescue is hosting their Virtual Fur Ball Gala for the second year in a row and our goal is to raise $100,000 for the renovation of the barn at The Safe House in Kentucky into an animal holding ward with safe, clean kennel runs where dogs and cats can get the medical attention and food they desperately need before making the long trip up north.

Safe Hands Rescue gives homeless pets a second chance to have a great life. If you have a companion animal, you know that we don’t just rescue them…they rescue us too. They bring happiness, make us laugh and give us comfort. We give them the best days of their lives and in return they give us the best days of ours.
