The Elk River high school bands include the concert band, wind symphony, red and black elk jazz bands, percussion "trashmen" and the pep band that plays at football, hockey, and basketball games. In addition to amazing performances at five annual concerts, the bands have consistently earned superior ratings at MSHSL contests, and band students also participate in honor bands at various universities, all-conference bands, and the awesome annual swing dance held at Elk River High School (ERHS) during the first Friday in March!
