Queen of Peace Catholic School is committed to providing excellence in education, while striving to form the whole person and forming disciples for Christ.  Our Future of Hope Campaign is directed toward investing in the sustainability of this mission and making provisions for the years to come. The Damian Francis Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Teacher Bonus Fund are two specific endowments through which we are seeking to increase our future viability and sustainability in this mission.

In the last few years, Queen of Peace has re-established the middle school and now offers K-8 Catholic education in Cloquet, MN. We have been blessed to re-expand and serve a large area. Some of the closest Catholic schools are 1-2 hours away to the North, West or South. We ask for your support in this outreach!

Damian Francis Memorial Scholarship Fund
For over 100 years Queen of Peace has promoted the mission of Catholic education through our parish school. Catholic education strives for the formation of the whole person according to high standards of intellectual, moral and physical excellence. The principal purpose of this formation is to make disciples— people who know Christ, follow Christ and make him known. The formation of genuine disciples of Jesus Christ is what makes Catholic education Catholic.

At Queen of Peace Catholic School this mission is funded by student tuition, school fundraisers and the support of the entire parish community. This support keeps tuition affordable and emphasizes our parish commitment to the formation of disciples.

Tuition is a necessary aspect of running a Catholic school, but Catholic education is for all families in our region, regardless of finances. For this reason, the Damian Francis Memorial Scholarship Fund has recently been established. Damian was born to Chris and Rachel Bennett on July 8, 2019. The outpouring of support and love to Damian and his family during his brief time with us is a reflection of true discipleship. Damian entered eternal life on August 4, 2019. In memory of Damian, and to be sure that money may never be a factor when choosing Catholic education, the Damian Francis Memorial Scholarship Fund was founded to provide tuition assistance to those in financial need.

Teacher Bonus Fund

We have wonderful teachers at our school! We are grateful for each and every one of them. Our school would not be the place it is without the staff who make it happen. Every day we want them to know we appreciate the work they do. This year has provided a unique strain for many teachers, juggling in-person and distance learning. As a school, we have been blessed to keep our door open, and have a distance learning model in place for use as needed. This has been beautiful! But not without it's challenges. We want to be able to say "Thank you!" to our great staff in a tangible way. We desire to provide them with a competitive wage. This is not unreasonable. But we do need help to make it happen. Creating a Bonus endowment is a concrete way to ensure our capacity to value our teachers into the future.
