Cook County Higher Education Fund

Cook County Higher Education makes it possible for local Grand Marais residents to earn a certificate, diploma, or degree that leads to living wage employment right here in our community. We offer support, which includes after-hour computer lab access, mentor support (and if you are interested in becoming a mentor, let us know!), course registration, financial aid, study skill workshops (writing & math in particular), and much more. Cook County Higher Education students have achieved a 90% completion rate, in large part (according to the students) due to the support they receive. The national average is 75%, so we are proud of our students!  Your gift to the Cook County Higher Education Fund will support its work forever.
