Through the magic of the arts, Breanna's Gift brings smiles to the faces of children with cancer and other serious illnesses.

Breanna's Gift is an arts program offering dance, visual arts, music, and performing arts opportunities at children's hospitals and home-away-from-home facilities. The program is free to all participants, Breanna's Gift covers the costs of teacher compensation, costumes, dance shoes, and supplies needed for art, music, and performing arts projects. Breanna's Gift offers 3 programs to meet the needs of children:

In-Person Classes Our core programming is in-person classes taught in facility playrooms or individual patient rooms. We currently provide classes at Children's Minnesota in Minneapolis and Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul.

Art Takeout is a series of individual art classes in a box, designed by our teachers, for children too sick to leave their hospital rooms to join group classes.

Art Take2 is a series of video classes created in May 2020 to provide another way to bring arts classes to children. Supplies needed for the follow-along classes are also provided. This growing and ongoing library includes classes similar to our in-person programming.

We find ourselves continually amazed at the resilience and energy we see in the children we serve. And the results - from the children, their families and everyone associated with Breanna's Gift - are SMILES! Even better? Breanna's Gift has received GuideStar's Platinum Seal of Transparency and meets the accountability standards of Charities Review Council.

If you like the idea of helping very sick children escape through the magic of the arts, we hope you'll join us. Thank you for considering a donation.

Warmly - Cindy, Immediate Past Board Chair
