YMCA Camp du Nord

Camp du Nord gives families a place to relax, laugh, play and grow together in the beautiful, peaceful woods of northern Minnesota. Camp also gives young people opportunities to develop leadership and service skills – all year long.

Camp du Nord connects people of all ages to nature-based activities.

• Families unplug from screens and connect with each other and to nature-at du Nord. They swim, canoe, hike and play outside—together. They return home refreshed, more connected to each other and with an increased interest in outdoor activity.
• All families deserve a du Nord experience: your gift provides financial assistance to families in need of support.
   

Camp du Nord helps young people become leaders who make a difference.

• Camp du Nord’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) welcomes young people (ages 15 – 18) for two-week sessions in the summer to focus on leadership skills and personal growth. Our generous donors subsidize half of the fee for each participating young person.
• Camp du Nord summer staff members can take wilderness first aid courses. Professional development and critical safety training are provided because of your gift.
