YMCA of the North

The YMCA of the North is a nonprofit organization working to strengthen communities across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, providing opportunities for every individual and family to learn, grow, and thrive at every stage.

We raise funds annually to help keep Y programs, resources, and services accessible to all.

Here at the Y, we value what everyone brings to the table. We work to ensure that every community member we serve feels welcomed and valued in our spaces. By nurturing individual potential, improving health and well-being outcomes, and showing up for our neighbors in the ways they need us most, we create pathways for becoming healthier, more confident, connected, and secure.

Everyone deserves a chance to succeed—no matter their background or income—and that can happen only when we unite to nurture the best in all of us.

OUR AREAS OF IMPACT

• YOUTH DEVELOPMENT: All kids and teens deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, under the guidance of adults who care about them and believe in their potential. We see every interaction with young people as an opportunity for learning and development.
• HEALTHY LIVING: Health and wellness are all about balance. That’s why we help people build and maintain healthy habits for spirit, mind, and body in their everyday lives. By giving kids, teens, adults, families, and seniors of all backgrounds and abilities inclusive, accessible opportunities to improve their health and well-being, we build a stronger community.
• SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: With our doors open to all, we work every day to connect people from every walk of life and support those who need us most. We take on the most urgent needs in our community and inspire a spirit of service in return. Our members, volunteers, supporters, and staff demonstrate the power of what we can achieve by giving back together.
